1 John 4:4:  “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you,
(the Holy Spirit) than he that is inthe world.”    (the devil, our adversary our enemy)

We have an adversary, and he’s powerful; he has power, but he has no authority.

I’m reminded of Jesus’ incomparable authority to rescue us from our sins and transform our lives as we look to Him. Immediately
I thought of His words to the disciples shortly before He returned to His Father in heaven:
Matthew 28:18-19: “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”
